Communication translator in mobile

The whole world segregated based on languages, cultures, lifestyles etc. I always wonder how beautiful life would be if we had a universal language which would reach everyone, irrespective of language & other differences etc.Well, I know, it is an dream  that is just imaginary, to achieve since have our own constraints. Nevertheless, I'd not stop thinking about making our lives easy by bringing all types of people together through communication with absolutely no barriers.

Now that we are in the era of smart phones, I feel nothing is impossible. We can achieve all kinds of communication which reaches every individual irrespective of their language. When two individuals speak over the phone using a common language, then it is easily understandable.  But if they speak in two different languages, then is this communication easy to understand? What is the  probability of a communication between a person  hard of hearing and an illiterate? Many such questions...but, if we don't solve the problem of a lay man,  then of what use  is this technology ...??

How I wish my Smart Phone had a " Communication / Language  Translator  " as a unique feature .Just by telling the title, it doesn't make you understand the wish I had.

Just imagine, I have a phone which does the below mentioned things.
   - The voice converter feature which converts voice into text and text into voice
   - Language translator which converts language A to language B
   - An algorithm which reduces the possible latency for above process.

Wow! If I have all the above features, life will be more exciting. No need to bother about different language across regions. Let me help you understand better through the following illustrations :

Scenario one:

Vinay speaks only English and Daya speaks only Spanish but still they have to communicate through phone. In current conditions, it is impossible. But the feature which I have in mind solves this problem easily through below steps.
   - Vinay conversation will get converted into English text using Voice converter feature.
   - This English text will translated into Spanish text through Language translator
   - Now Spanish text will be converted into Spanish conversation with the help of Voice converter
   - Daya can hear the Vinay's English conversation in Spanish
   - When Daya speaks Spanish, Vinay can listen it as English
If we are able to avoid the latency, this will  work out to be a wonderful feature.

Scenario Two:

Ramesh is deaf and Suresh is illiterate. Both  these persons want communicate with each other  through the phone since they reside  in different regions. Again, it is complex scenario to make a possible communication. But I don't find any reasons why they miss the luxuries which any other person enjoys. We can solve this problem through few easy steps.
   - Ramesh types a text message in his mobile and sends to Suresh
   - Suresh's  phone converts the text message into voice (if required, language change too) and Suresh can easily understand.
   - Suresh speaks over the phone and sends voice message to Ramesh
   - Ramesh phone converts the message into text   (If required, language change too) and Ramesh can understand easily.

It seems like a very crazy idea. But I always wished  for this feature  each time i feel the difficulty to speak  & understand other languages and while seeing the problems of  faced by challenged people

I think the World needs a spoken universal language as well, such as Esperanto.
